Are you looking for a stable opportunity with growth potential in the mobility industry?
We’d love to meet you and tell you about our project!
We are an industry specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles. With the support of 4,000 employees across 6 countries, operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers, we serve over 100 clients.
Our mission is straightforward: to develop you into a complete professional. You'll gain the knowledge, skills, and experience across various company areas, contribute innovative ideas, and execute strategic projects that fuel continuous improvement and organizational growth, all while staying true to our core values and culture.
The main objective of the DGP (Draxton Graduate Program) is for participants to remain at Draxton and become our future leaders within succession plans. We want the talent we bring in to be integrated into our leadership pipeline over the medium and long term.
Do you enjoy working in industrial environments with challenging cross-functional projects that drive continuous improvement?
At Draxton Teruel, located in Utrillas, we are looking to hire a recent graduate.
In this role, you'll get direct mentorship from experienced leaders and join a comprehensive, rotational training program that includes both local and international on-site experiences. The focus is split between building your technical skills and sharpening your leadership competencies. This is your chance to contribute to real projects, tackling complex challenges in a collaborative, innovative setting.
🎯 Main Responsibilities:
- New Tooling Verification and Validation: This role is crucial during the Engineering (1st Stage) phase, responsible for reviewing and verifying all incoming new tooling using standardized checklists. This includes overseeing the execution of trials, meticulously checking molding parameters, pouring temperature and time, and machine settings. Critical validation involves coordinating with Quality, Finishing, X-Ray (RX), and Metrology to analyze trial results, specifically assessing visual inspection rejects, internal solidity, and dimensional accuracy of the test parts.
- Design and Implementation of Gating Systems: A core Engineering function is the design of the feeding system components utilizing CATIA software. This includes the subsequent task of assembling these feeding system elements within the tool itself, ensuring optimal material flow and part quality for subsequent production.
- Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization: In the Operations (2nd Stage), the focus shifts to Continuous Improvement. This involves promoting the development and implementation of CI across the plants. The role actively supports the standardization and optimization of production processes by applying Lean Manufacturing and other CI tools. The ultimate goal is to reduce production costs, improve plant productivity, and contribute positively to the overall Scorecards.
- Waste and Bottleneck Reduction Analysis: This function, central to Continuous Improvement, includes the detailed analysis of waste generated in production processes. It involves implementing targeted improvement activities to reduce this waste. Furthermore, the role is tasked with analyzing and implementing actions to reduce bottlenecks across the plants to streamline operations and enhance throughput.
- Non-Conforming Product Management and Root Cause Analysis (Quality): A key Quality function is to manage non-conforming products (both internal and external) by ensuring proper containment and disposition. A major part of this involves conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of defects using analytical tools like the 5 Whys or the Ishikawa Diagram (Fishbone Diagram).
- Corrective Action Implementation and Customer Satisfaction Monitoring (Quality): The role ensures the correct implementation of both corrective and preventive actions identified via RCA and verifies their overall effectiveness. Additionally, it is responsible for monitoring customer satisfaction indicators and feedback, and performing follow-up on internal tests for both new product approval and the validation of new production conditions during serial manufacturing.
💡 To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Education & Language: Proactive, adaptable, highly motivated individual with a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and high proficiency in English (B2-C1 level).
- Logistics & Availability: Must possess a valid driving license and own vehicle. Full-time availability is required, with an incorporation date in January 2026.
- Experience & Program Requirements: Maximum of 2 years of professional experience in the sector. Candidates must be available for travel and temporary residence abroad during the 12-month program. Key soft skills required include Adaptability, Resilience, Proactivity, Initiative, Communication, and Leadership.
🕵🏼 What we offer:
- Job Stability: Permanent contract backed by a solid financial environment.
- Opportunities for training and development.
- Be part of a solid team working with leading OEMs and a wide variety of products in a multicultural environment.
- Comprehensive Professional Development and Practical Experience: Gain a complete view of Draxton through rotations across our production plants (casting and machining) and key Engineering and Operations areas. From day one, you will work on real projects with dedicated mentorship, allowing you to immediately apply your knowledge and acquire practical experience.
