At Draxton Central Services, located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, we are looking to incorporate a Machining Technology Engineer. The person joining us will have the opportunity to transform ideas into real industrial solutions, defining machining processes, fixtures and tooling that are key to the manufacturing of our products. They will participate in projects from the initial design phase through final validation, collaborating with engineering teams, plants and suppliers to develop efficient, robust solutions focused on continuous improvement.
The position will report to the Machining Technology Leader.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
You will define and develop machining processes, fixtures and tooling required to industrialize new products, ensuring robust, efficient and competitive solutions.
You will participate from the early stages of projects, providing technical expertise to ensure feasibility, cost optimization, and achievement of quality and timing targets.
You will collaborate with engineering teams, plants and suppliers in the design and implementation of manufacturing solutions, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
You will evaluate investments, processes, technologies and equipment, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and strengthen project competitiveness.
You will develop machining standards, criteria and best practices, promoting standardization and knowledge sharing across the organization.
You will provide technical support to plants and engineering teams, helping solve manufacturing challenges and build capabilities in machining technologies.
💡 To succeed in this role, you will need:
Degree in Engineering.
Minimum of three years of experience in industrial environments related to machining processes, ideally within the automotive industry.
Solid knowledge of machining processes, CNC programming and chip-removal manufacturing technologies.
Ability to interpret technical requirements and contribute to the development and industrialization of new products and processes.
Advanced level of English, enabling effective communication in technical environments and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
