At Draxton Teruel, our foundry plant located in Utrillas (Spain), we are looking for a senior professional with a strong track record in complex, high-volume manufacturing environments, capable of leading transformation projects focused on increasing productivity, optimizing processes and accelerating automation across our operations.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role will have a significant impact on the plant's overall performance. Your mission will be to plan, organize and lead industrial improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production processes, increasing productivity, reducing inefficiencies and driving automation.
This opportunity is designed for professionals with strong industrial judgment, analytical capabilities and a high degree of autonomy, capable of identifying improvement opportunities, determining which processes need to evolve and which should be preserved to maximize operational performance.
🎯 Key responsibilities:
Lead industrial transformation projects focused on maximizing productivity, improving operational efficiency and optimizing manufacturing costs.
Analyze production processes end-to-end, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities with a direct impact on plant performance.
Design and implement automation, robotics and process improvement solutions to enhance productivity and industrial competitiveness.
Lead industrial layout redesign projects, optimizing production flows, material movements, resource allocation and space utilization.
Lead the Methods & Time Studies function, defining work standards, operating procedures and performance metrics across manufacturing areas.
Analyze productivity by employee, process, production line and manufacturing area, identifying actions to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities.
Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the plant.
Monitor industrial investments from both a technical and financial perspective, ensuring productivity, efficiency and return-on-investment objectives are achieved.
💡 To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree in Engineering.
Solid experience in similar positions within large-scale industrial environments.
Proven experience leading industrial automation and robotics projects applied to manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of methods and time studies, industrial productivity and cost optimization.
Experience leading layout changes and manufacturing process transformation projects.
A demonstrated track record of delivering efficiencies, reducing waste and improving operational performance.
The ability to identify improvement opportunities and convert them into projects that generate measurable results.
